Join the McDonough Turkey Trot for a Fun-Filled Thanksgiving Run

Looking for a festive way to kick off your Thanksgiving celebrations?

 

The McDonough Turkey Trot offers a perfect blend of fun, fitness, and community spirit.

 

Scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025, this annual event invites participants of all ages to engage in a 1-mile fun run, 5K, or 10K race.

 

All proceeds benefit the Special Olympics of Henry County, making your participation both enjoyable and meaningful.

 

The event kicks off at 6:30 a.m. with registration at the Academy Sports parking lot, located at 198 South Point Blvd, McDonough, GA 30253.

 

Races commence at 8:00 a.m., offering a scenic route through the heart of McDonough.

 

Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to meet people and stay active, the Turkey Trot is an excellent opportunity.
